Slow And Steady Progress – How to see the success there

How long does it take to go a mile? It’s a trick question! It depends on how you are traveling. I ask this question because you need to think about your goals in the same way. How long will it take you? It depends!

small steps matter

Slow and steady progress really matters in achieving your goals. For example, how long does it take to go a mile?

It’s a trick question! It depends on how you are traveling.  Are you a marathon runner or a 3 year old? How you approach and tackle that mile is important. However, it is vital to see that a 3 year old will still complete that mile – it will just take longer and that is 100% acceptable! The reason I ask this question is so that you can think about your goals in the same way.  How long will it take you?  It depends!

One thing is CERTAIN – if you KEEP working towards your goal you will eventually get there.

Do you want to write a book?  Keep writing.
Do you want to run a marathon? Keep running.
Do you want to buy a house?  Keep saving.

KEEP AT IT!

No matter what it is that you want to achieve, just KEEP AT IT! There is no need for huge drastic changes, unless that is what you want to do.  Small and consistent steps will get you to where you want to go.  As long as you don’t give up, you will get there.
